Ready to meet the person behind the business model?

What’s the most important thing you look at when considering a franchise?

The investment? The kind of returns you can expect?

Obviously, you need to crunch the numbers. Check it will work in your local area. Be sure you’ve got all the facts and figures at your disposal…. All critical stuff, but only part of the picture. What you should never overlook is that you’re not just buying into a business model, you’re choosing the people you’ll be partnering with.

After all, whether you’re planning to start a business for the first time, or already a seasoned investor, this will be something that will require a lot of your time, energy, and resources for many years to come. You need to know that you’re partnering with the right kind of people, and making the right kind of choice for where you are in your life now.

So beyond just asking “Can this make me money?” (don’t worry, it can!) maybe the real questions are:

Can I see myself actually enjoying running this kind of business?
Are these the kind of people I want and need in my corner?

Choosing the right franchise is as much about connection and shared values as it is about business models and markets – if not more!

Which is why I have been working with Mitch Sorbie, the founder of the Just Pizza & Pasta franchise on a series of new videos where he talks about his background and what the franchise means to him. If you follow Mitch on LinkedIn, you will already have a good idea of what he is all about as a businessman, but this first video is designed to give you a more 1-2-1 personal view of his – and the brand’s – journey.

Check it out here: Introducing Just Pizza & Pasta with Mitch Sorbie

It’s only just under 2 minutes long, but Mitch covers quite a bit of ground including his streamlined business model, what kind of customers he sees and how many, and how the whole business got started.

Well worth a watch!

We’re going to be doing some more as we go into 2026, so are there any questions you’d like to see answered in our next video?

If so, let me know!

Don’t forget, I’m also very happy to set you up with a call directly to Mitch so you can ask him yourself. Just schedule a call with me first to have an initial chat by clicking the button at the top of the page, and I can arrange it for you.

If we’ve already spoken and you’re ready to take the next step, just get in touch by phone or email and I’ll make it happen!

Either way, I look forward to hearing from you.
